The Ocean & Society Survey (OSS) Research Team Meeting

This working meeting will bring together the OSS team of research, communication, and ocean literacy professionals, and the 12 participating countries’ leads, to discuss:

  • OSS progress to date and preliminary comparative analysis of OSS data
  • Country-level insights of initial 12 countries, projected impact, and engagement pathways
  • Hypotheses for ongoing analysis and application
  • Collaborative opportunities post UNOC3

This session will share the preliminary analysis of OSS data from the first 12 countries. Evolving results, survey methodologies, and cultural and regional considerations will be shared, concluding with a look at OSS’s next phase and global collaboration after UNOC3. 

 

Jen McRuer, COLC’s Research Manager and lead coordinator of the OSS initiative, will be facilitating this research meeting with collaborating partners.
